Members of the Supreme Council shall be Amrithdhari Sikhs who:
 |
have been properly baptised by the Holy Five (Punj Pyares) and who, after baptisem, have not violated any of the precepts of the Sikh religion. |

shall strictly perform all Sikh ceremonies in his/her family from birth to death in accordance with the religious rites. |
| |
 |
wear the Punj Kakaars and unceasingly practice to be a good Sikh |
| |
 |
shall not cut/shave or remove hair from any part of the body nor attempt to do so, and shall not consume any intoxicants, alcohol, drugs or tobacco and shall not engage in adultery. |
| |
 |
do not engage in any form of gambling or prostitution. Inaddition, they will not traffick in drugs, alcohol or other items considered taboo in our religion. |
| |
 |
will abide by all the decisions of the Supreme Council. |
| |
 |
shall undertake to serve the Sikh religion and Brotherhood whole-heartedly and promote harmony of mankind. |
| |
 |
shall contribute one-tenth of his/her honest and clean earnings for the cause of the Sikh religion and in service of mankind. |
| |
 |
shall be pure vegetarians. |
| |
 |
shall sign the prescribed declarations refered to in Rules 6:03 and 6:04 of the Constitution. |
