Membership Types
No Sikh, unless he/she is an Amrithdhari residing in Malaysia shall be eligible to hold any post or office of any kind in or of the Society. The following membership types are available :
Life Membership
To be a Life member, you have to :

be at least 21 years of age.

be a staunch Amrithdhari, practising the full Rehat and truthful living (including the giving of the Daswandh, ie one-tenth of your earnings, towards charity)

pay $1001 (payable in one lump sum or instalments not exceeding a year).

Essentially, Life members have rights to vote, attend meetings, be Trustees or be members of the Supreme Council.

Ordinary Membership
To be an Ordinary member, you have to :

be at least 21 years of age.

be a staunch Amrithdhari, practising the full Rehat and truthful living (including the giving of the Daswandh, ie one-tenth of your earnings, towards charity)

pay $xxx on a yearly basis.

Essentially, Ordinary members have rights to vote, attend meetings, be Trustees or be members of the Supreme Council.

Associate Membership
To be an Associate member, you :

have to be at least 21 years of age.

may be a non-Amrithdhari (ie. not baptised) Sikh

have to pay $xxx on a yearly basis.

Associate members have no voting rights and cannot hold any post or office. However, they may attend meetings.

Junior Membership
To be an Junior member, you :

may be less than 21 years of age.

have to have prior permission from your parents to be eligible for membership

have to pay $xxx on a yearly basis.

Junior members have no voting rights and cannot hold any post or office. However, they may attend meetings.
